..and so we had a great dinner at internatinal buffet. i must say it has a better ambience than sakura. the sashimo was yummy. its some smoked egg fish. its quite a wonder how the whole fish is mostly filled with fish eggs but looks like a whole fish from outside. savvy? and then, i had oyster!

it was my 1st try and lets just say its not my cup of tea?

the salmon head was a rare delicacy. i like the cheek meat! but one ting i realise, they don't have hot plate unlike sakura. (:

i am but perfect.

someone's treating the whole family for dinner at international buffet later. can't wait! can't wait!

last saturday, headed down to one fullerton early and got the best spot. its like wad, the place from where they shoot the fireworks was just 200m away? all the waiting for nearly 4 hours is worth it! i don't have any pictures since we videod the whole thing. guessing me, it will be donkey years till i'll upload it here..so don't wait. here's one taken by some talented photographer..

presenting to you my brand new fujifilm finepix z5 fd!

the dad bought me this as an adv. bday gift ytd..weEeee~ i actually wanted to get the sony cybershot t20 BUT luckily i was introduced to this baby! No doubt sony cybershot t20 has a better outlook (slim fit, chic design), higher megapixel (8.1) but the picture quality is not as nice as the fujiilm z5. Luckily i learn it from the sales person. In fact went to 2 stores & both recommended fujifilm z5 over sony cybershot t20. So lesson 1 ppl --> higher megapixel does not equal to better quality pictures! It simply means it looks clearer if the pictures are printed on a bigger paper. The actual thing that makes pictures clearer is the speed of the shutter. The fujifilm z5 has a super CCD HR (equals greater shutter activity). Moreover, it has face detection and intelligent flash. Since it cost more or less the same as cybershot t20 (with the same goodies), of course i chose the z5. I thought its a good deal made..2GB memory card, extra batt, original casing, tripod & screen protector! oh, btw, my z5 is in pastel pink (not in raspberry red which is featured above)..

*although we bought at shop B which sells it for $20 more, my mom thought its more satisfying than buying from shop A, which has poor service
so lesson 2 ppl --> service experience & customer satisfaction is very very important!

i learn so much in the not-so-short trip to Sim Lim. Its so interesting & exciting!! haha..i wanna go again! anyone needs a digicam? ;p


Other highlights

1) Picnic with the aj girls last tuesday at ECP! This was sooo fun & crazy..I love you girls! lazy to update..check suli's multiply/muni's blog for further details lah ah..

2) Went to marina bay/merlion from Sim Lim to catch a glimpse of the parade & of course, the fireworks..although wasn't as great an experience as those who are seated on the colourful chairs, it was still fun minus the fights, the sardine-packed crowd, the pushing & screaming, the lady who faint in front of us, the bangla-molesters, the police arrests, the crying/wailing kids, the heat & perspiration, the..the..ok dah.
